Counseling
School Counseling Services
Comprehensive school counseling services will be offered to all students throughout the year. These services include academic support, college planning, as well as individual and small group counseling to address social and emotional concerns that cause students to experience troubles at school. Additional resources and suggestions for referrals to outside agencies are also available through the assistant principals, school social worker, school counselor or school psychologist.
Online Referral Forms
Parents and guardians are encouraged to use the Online Referral Form to request services for their child. Referrals for services can also be made with or through your child’s teachers and the assistant principals.
Students are welcome to request a meeting with the counselor through the Online Referral Form or during walk-in times at school.
Parent Permission
Parent permission for counseling services is necessary when a student has been identified as needing on-going support. A permission slip will be sent home with the student. The Parent Permission Form is also available online for your convenience.
If you have questions, please call Ms. Fernandez at 408-270-6900 or email at bfernandes@eesd.org
