PTSA Board Election message

The 2018-19 PTSA Board Election is scheduled for next week (March 15). We still have a few open positions and are in need of volunteers to fill-up these positions. If we don't have a fully functioning Board in place for next year, we would have to consider cutting some of our current programs.
Ideally, for the VP - Programs position we would like to have an incoming 7th grade parent as well as a rising 8th grade parent. Having two parents in this position would mean that there is consistent rotation where the 8th grade parent is the primary & the 7th grade parent is learning in his/her first year and can take that knowledge into the next year.
We are also looking for volunteers to serve as Program Chairpersons (Carnival, Bingo, Spelling Bee, Reflections, etc.). These are not Board positions. You will be responsible only for the program you choose to lead and will work with the Vice President (Programs). If you cannot commit to a Board position due to work/time constraints, you could serve as a Chairperson for a particular program.
