Grab n Go Breakfast is now available during the morning break at Chaboya Middle School beginning Monday, November 18th. Students will be able to purchase a breakfast during the morning break to fuel up for the rest of the morning. Additional information is available in the attached flyers.

On the court, Chaboya's seventh grade girls basketball team dominated throughout the game against Quimby Oak on Thursday, November 7th, and closing out the game with a winning score of 43 to 24. Players displayed strategic discipline and remained focused with a strong defense and confidence. Nithiya D. proved to be a challenge for the Quimby team on rebounds while Natasha C. scored a game high of 12 points. In the second game against an indestructible eighth grade Quimby team, Chaboya's girls team fell behind early in the game. Behind in double digits, Chaboya's team came back twice to cut the lead down to four, but ultimately suffered their first loss of the season against the defending champion team, Los Lobos. Ryka A. led the colts in scoring with 17 points.

During the month of October, students at Chaboya were introduced to facts and information about vaping and the dangers of vaping during Advisory lessons held after lunch, prior to the start of fifth period. Vaping information was provided to students through slide decks produced by Stanford Medicine Toolkits on tobacco and vaping.
