Volleyball Boys and Girls

A student information meeting will be held before registration opens. Students interested in trying out for the volleyball team are encouraged to attend to learn about the tryout process, practice expectations, and season details. The date and time of this meeting will be made during announcements.. 

Registration opens after the student information meeting. 

• You must have a signed online parent/student registration form to attend this tryout.
• You must have registered online and have a signed parent permission slip and concussion information slip completed during your online registration to attend tryouts. These forms can be found during the registration process and on the Athletics Overview page.
• Boys tryouts will begin on 1/23 or 1/24 (for boys’ basketball team members). The boys volleyball team tryouts  are 2:45-4:15 p.m. outside on the basketball courts, not in the gym. 
• Girls tryouts will be held on 1/21/25 from 2:45-4:15 p.m. outside on the basketball courts, not in the gym.
• Tryouts will continue until the team is formed which may take 2-3 days.
• This is a cut sport, you will be trying out for a spot on a team and are not guaranteed a spot on the team.

Both teams will regularly practice in the gym from 2:45 - 4:15 p.m. Monday through Thursday.  Coaches will notify everyone on the occasional Friday practices. Athletes will be provided a schedule by the coaches.

• You must maintain a 2.0+ GPA to compete in meets, with no Fs, or N/U citizenship grades.
• Grades will be checked on March 7, 2025. Students who do not meet grade level expectations will be removed from the team.
